The Italian Coastguard and the Order of Malta’s Italian Relief Corps combine forces in a rescue mission for immigrants arriving on the Sicilian coast in Italy. During the mission, which will be in place for six months from April, the Order’s doctors will be on board two of the Coastguard’s boats to provide immediate first aid.
