At the session of 12 February 2009, the Prince and Grand Master and the Sovereign Council approved the election to the office of Grand Prior of Rome of H.E. the Ven. Bailiff Fra’ Giacomo Dalla Torre del Tempio di Sanguinetto who, according to Art. 159 of the Code, resigned from the Sovereign Council.

At the same meeting, the Prince and Grand Master and the Sovereign Council appointed to the office of Grand Commander H.E. the Ven. Bailiff Fra’ Gherardo Hercolani Fava Simonetti, already member of the Sovereign Council.

Duncan Gallie, Knight of Justice, was appointed as a Member of the Sovereign Council, in place of Fra’ Giacomo Dalla Torre.
