Malteser International has started renovations on a public health unit in the village of Tay Giang, central Vietnam. An ethnic minority lives in conditions of extreme poverty in this mountainous area.

In this part of Vietnam the health units, besides being scarce and badly equipped, are also difficult to reach. Hence the Order of Malta’s Relief Corps is organizing the supply of new medical equipment and training for staff in the public health centre in Bhalee. This means that people living in this area will be guaranteed medical assistance.
