Fra’ Andrew Bertie, 78th Grand Master of the Sovereign Order of Malta, died in Rome on 7th February 2008. This morning, a mass was celebrated in the Magistral Palace chapel to commemorate him ten years after his death. It was officiated by the Order of Malta’s Prelate, Msgr. Jean Laffitte, in the presence of the Lieutenant of the Grand Master Fra’ Giacomo Dalla Torre del Tempio di Sanguinetto and members of the Sovereign Council.

Meanwhile, the Cause of Beatification and Canonization of the Servant of God Fra’ Andrew Bertie continues. Precisely at this time, some witnesses to his life are being heard by the Diocesan Tribunal of Rome.
