The Grand Magistry wished to remember the late Grand Master, Fra’ Giacomo Dalla Torre del Tempio di Sanguinetto, on what would have been his 77th birthday with a Mass celebrated in the chapel of the Magistral Palace in Rome.
The ceremony was officiated by Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re, who during his homily recalled the great spirituality of Fra’ Giacomo, his enduring dedication to the poor and the sick and his personal relationship with Pope Francis, as well as his family’s service to the pontiffs and the Holy See.
The Lieutenant of the Grand Master, Fra’ Marco Luzzago, some Sovereign Council members, the Prelate, Msgr. Jean Laffitte, the Prelate Emeritus Msgr. Angelo Acerbi, as well as Fra’ Giacomo’s brother, Francesco Dalla Torre, attended.
