The Sovereign Order of Malta’s Global Fund for Forgotten People distributed its 2017 grants on June 24th. This year, 22 grants were distributed to support 16 projects of the Order in 15 countries.
Among the projects is the Lunch Box Program in China, providing meaningful employment for people suffering from leprosy. The Fund is also supporting the 2017 Order of Malta International Summer Camp for the Disabled in Austria. This year 200 guests and 300 volunteers, from over 25 countries will attend.
Also supported is an After-School Programme for Children in Albania providing access to educational support for children from disadvantaged families.
