At Hoa Quy, 100 km south of Ho Chi Minh city, 99 destitute women have participated in a training seminar which has taught them basic economic concepts and sales techniques. They are now ready to set up small businesses, thus helping to improve their families’ living conditions

The project is based on Malteser International’s cooperation with the Women’s Union of Hoa Quy, which has already expressed the desire to organize a new cycle of seminars.

A set of training instruments is used in the courses to offer practical teaching in the areas of income generation, economic development and creation of new employment
